I used to store mp3's on my desktop until it started to slowdown my system. Than I started to store them deep inside my hard drives. One thing I noticed that is weird though is the fact that when I click "tools>show hidden files & system files" in explorer I can see the following three hidden items on my desktop.

When I click on the two hidden images they display a cover for an mp3 I had on my desktop long ago. I dunno what the thumbs.db icon is for...

But I was wondering if it was ok for me to delete these three hidden files?

    Thanks

These are, as you know, hidden system files. They do not need removing. You can just hide them again.

Thumbs.db is the file which holds the parameters for Thumbnail view (while in Windows Explorer or My Computer).
