Can I remove this safely

Hello again.

I ran a disc scan the other day after a moody prob. & just as the drive was running out of space it would click (like a relay switch) & re-start, sometimes freezing the whole system.

It's left a couple of large file's behind, the two highlighted in this attachment.
Can I delete these safely to free up space or are they critically needed?

could be some sort of temp files, or files that were recovered from a scan or something, isn't there something else you can delete to free up space for now? then run ccleaner to delete temp files. http://majorgeeks.com/CCleaner_Slim_d4191.html

 

Hmm, could be. Not to sure though. :confused
It's a slave drive I use mainly for audio sample's & I didn't want to go deleting them.
I've got Ccleaner already cheer's M8, & use it frequently along with a few other app's. I'll look at the file's again L8A, getting tired now & need SOME sleep.
I'll more than likely be here again tomorow, I luv this place. :heart

are they in the root of the drive? or in a folder?

The file's are hidden in the first window when I open the drive from it's icon.
