I have an old computer running WindowsME and I bought a new computer that runs XP. What I want to do is this. I want to take the old hard drive and put it in the new computer (supposedly a pretty easy thing to do). Then I want to somehow choose which OS to boot up in each time I turn on the computer. Is this possible? How easy is this? I'm a relative newby to hardware. I can put in a wireless card and memory and am good at following directions.

    Thanks for the help!

Well... I dont think its possible to have it so u can pick each time you boot up. But if you set your older drive to the master and the newer one to slave it should boot from the old one. You can do this by changing the "jumpers" as they are called on the HD.
