Can I use either of these AMD processors?

The specs on my original processor according to the HP website is AMD Athlon II X2 240e 2.80 gHZ AM3. If I buy a replacement processor, as long as it's an AMD Athlon II X2 240e 2.80 gHZ AM3, am I ok? The serial number on the actual choices I have are a bit long such as AMD Athlon II x2 AD240EHDK23GQ, and AMD Athlon II CPU 240e AD240EHDK23GM, the last two letters in the part number being different. Does that matter?.....or will they both work, Thanks, Ed

BTW I can't see any writing on my original processor or I would have just matched it.

 

OK thanks, I got it. Didn't realize I could easily scrape the thermal paste off with my fingernail. Easy to read the part # now. Thanks again ED
