I am using XP Pro and a DSL connection and My Local Area Connection displays in packets and I would only find it useful if it displayed in bytes.

DU Meter is one of the products recommended by some forums like Techimo to deal with the problem but I didn't find it answered my need to know how many megabytes I download in a session.

My provider gives me a monthly running total but I prefer to break it down session by session.
