   cannnot connect to OS ...sparatically my computer will read in dos, " cannot connect to OS" only thing currenly that seems to get it running again, is powering off, and back on. Does not happen every time we power on, but is getting frustrating.....please help ......Windows ME ...amd athlon 128mb, .............please help

   Might want to run a through scandisk on that drive and make sure of its integrity. That’s the only thing I can think of that would sporadically cause that sort of thing.
