    Hi All,
I am using ZoneAlarm Pro with Web Filtering 4.0.123.012. (I have disabled the web filtering, as I am the primary user of this PC.) There are some instances when I need to enable incoming TCP signals for this computer to communicate with other computers but cannot receive incoming TCP signals regardless of WHAT I do! I have tried everything in the ZA tutorial. This has been a problem since switching from Norton Internet Security to ZA. I like ZA and feel much more secure with it, but need to enable incoming TCP signals at times. Do I have to totally disable ZA?

    Does anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks in advance,
    Gina

ZA Has a facility which will allow you to receive incoming TCP from various sorces...provided you know them. You can select either separate TCP/IP addresses or give ZA a range of addresses.

    Select "firewall" then "zones"

On Scouesetechs line... are these TCP connections from within a home network?
    are they inside a firewaill/router?

if so, then you can set a range or IP addresses that you will accept signals from...

@exeter_acres: Was that question for me, or Scousetechie?

Perhaps I should post this thread in "Networking?" I didn't, because with Norton's firewall everything was fine.

    Peace & Thanks!

    for you.....

are the computers all in a range? is the central server acting as the DHCP server?

I may have to research about the DHCP and get back to you, but I'm PM'ming you now, if that's ok.

    Thanks very much!
