Cannot find instructions found in a search from yesterday

Was having some issues (and questions) yesterday with Spybot S&D, RE: Resident/Tea Timer, and had them answered over in Software. Thought I had things resolved, but now the program will not update.

In the process of an overall site-search here yesterday, I came across a thread in which Chaslang had advised to delete (I "think") "C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search & Destroy\Plugins\TCPIPaddress.dll" ... again, I "think" that is what it was, as that is what is coming-up now within the new error I'm receiving upon trying to install the program again (over-top of the old program). Now I cannot seem to find that thread that I found yesterday.

I don't know how to proceed here. Should I uninstall the program first (?), or should I attempt to delete the folder/file mentioned above first? Or, should I do something else altogether entirely different? All very confusing - to me.

 

Are you saying you can't update Spybot S&D? If this is your only issue, I would recommend uninstalling, rebooting and then downloading the most recent version below. Be sure you install it without the TeaTimer feature.
