Cannot Load Hive at Startup

Good Day MGeeks - Cannot start my Dell PC. when turned on get:

STOP: coooo218 {Registry File Failure}
The Registry cannot load the Hive (file):
\systemroot\system32\config\SOFTWARE
or its log or alternate.

Is this fixxable? Can I use the Recovery Console?

I tried the recovery per MS article, however I could not copy the 'system' or 'software' files. Could copy the other three sam, security, & default.

Any thoughts or ways around this problem.

What was the error?

 

Two errors:
1st on copying sys file, says it could not be found.
2nd on software file, says it cannot be copied.

Did you do a dir, to see if they are even present?

What files are listed there?
