cannot log into any secure websites using IE

Except for this message board and myspace.com I can not log into any secure websites (banks, message boards, online newspapers, etc.). Every time I try to login it goes to "page cannot be displayed". I do not have any other problems with internet explorer and I use linksys wireless router and adapter. Any help would be great

 

Try Mozilla Firefox. It's probably a settings issue somewhere in IE or your Internet settings in the control panel, but if you try getting onto a secure page using Firefox it may help to narrow down the possibilities of what your problem is. Besides, Firefox kicks way more butt than Internet Explorer in the first place, so you might just keep using it if it works.
