Cannot not Uninstall Java(TM) 6 Update 31

Alright guys well, title pretty much says it all. I've tried everything - going into regedit, downloading Javara, The problem is Java is telling me I don't have any java installed, well when I go to install it the installer says "this software has already been installed on your computer. Would you like to reinstall it?" Well that's contradicting considering java is telling me that I don't have any java on my computer. I CANNOT uninstall it from the add/remove programs, I downloaded something called revo uninstaller pro, to my surprise I cannot force uninstall it because it doesnt appear, EVERYTHING else does but that. I have like no trace of java on my computer I am so stumped and frustrated. If anybody can help me I'd be so thankful. I've searched Google and can find no help at all.

 

An admin can delete this if he/she chooses I found a solution what I did was download an older version/in this case beta. After that I ran CCcleaner and it allowed me to uninstall it, if you would like to keep this thread open for other people who run into this problem also. By the way sorry for the spelling error in the title, been at this problem all night it is not 2:40Am and I'm getting to bed.

 

Any luck yet as I have exactly the same problem!!

Also, anyone having this problem could try using JavaRA which is an extremely "simple tool that does a simple job: it removes old and redundant versions of the Java Runtime Environment (JRE)."

Try this uninstaller i have not have had a issue yet uninstalling stuff with it.

pwillener's link is for Microsoft Fix-It ... it worked for me even when JavaRA did not.
