Canon BJC-4300 won't print

    It says that it doesn't recognize the print cartridge. I've tried replacing it, and I've tried reseting the printer but it hasn't worked. Any ideas?

    The cartridge is a BCI-21. And I just bought the printer used, so I don't know. The previous owner assured me that it was in fine working order though.

    No, just a green flashing light.
