cant access my-space (blocked)

I can access my-space through a proxy but in order to become a new member they e-mail u a verification code attatched to a link that goes back to my-space. when i click the link access is denied to the sight. I have checked security and no sites are blocked. this is a shared p.c and no users have blocked any sights. i am a semi-beginner with computer tech so im at your mercy. I have deleted cookies and temp files but thats all i have tried.
any suggestions would be very helpful. thanks

 

thanks, i will give it a shot but i dont see how that will bypass whatever is blocking me from the my-space page
