Hi, I have a Satellite S6100x. I downloaded some programs that gave me a lot of pop ups so I did a malware removal, then did a system restore and now I can't do anything, can't get into safe mode, when I try normal mode I get the blue screen with "Stop C0000135 Program can't start because %hs missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this." Obviously I can't install or change anything if I can't get into safe mode. If I hold the 0 key down while I boot, I can get to the restore partition which will destroy all my data, there is no option there to fix safe mode. Before I checked out the restore option, which I cancelled, I had two normal boot options available, one said Windows 7 and the other said Windows7,Vista,etc. I had installed a partition with XP on it a long time ago. Now I only have 1 option. Is there any way to load whatever is missing to the hard drive when you can't get into safe mode? When I checked the Toshiba Site for this error code, it asked if I was having problems with the cooling. I had to replace the hard drive on that computer before it was a year old. I am using an Acer that is twice as old as the Toshiba to send this post. thanks.
