    Gentlemen:

I have an Vista machine networked to an XP machine and I'm trying to get a sync program on the Vista machine to write to a shared folder on the XP box.

The problem is I can't remove the Read Only attribute on the shared folder. I remove it and click Apply/OK, but if I go straight back to Properties, the check mark is back. Then I get a 'Can't write to destination' permissions error.

I'm logged in as the Administrator on both machines, so why can't I change the folder Properties?

The folders to be synched are C:\Business on both machines.

    Anyone? Thanks - rev
