Can't complete read and run me first

    Hi,

    I posted the following problem:

    and have followed the steps up until step 6 of malware removal, where I need to download some programs. However when I try to connect to the internet it won't open and I get the following message:

    " cannot find 'about:blank'. Make sure the path or internet address is correct if I try open explorer or:

    "The application or DLL C://WINDOWS/system32.DLL is not a vlaid windows image. Please check against your installation diskette" If i it try open mozilla

    Please help!? :)

    Download the programs to a different computer and transfer via CD. Do not run them off the CD, but put them where we instruct you to put them.

    Does this happen when in safe mode w/networking?
