Cant delete this stupid folder!!

    There is a folder that I can't seem to delete! It keep saying 'You need permission to perform this action." I have already disabled the UAC, and STILL this crap pops up! How do I delete this folder entirely? I want to get rid of it already.

    What is the full path to the folder? You can try using Avenger. As in:

    Now download The Avenger by Swandog46 to your Desktop.

    See the download links under this icon [​IMG]

    1. Extract avenger.exe from the Zip file and save it to your desktop
    2. Run avenger.exe by double-clicking on it.
    3. Click OK at the warning to continue to use The Avenger
    4. Do not change any of the check box options!
    5. Shut down your protection software now to avoid possible conflicts.
    6. Copy everything in the Quote box below, and paste it into the Input script here: part of The Avenger
    7. Now click the [​IMG] button
    8. Click Yes to the prompt to confirm you want to execute.
    9. Click Yes to the Reboot now? question that will appear when The Avenger finishes running.
    10. Your PC should reboot, if not, reboot it yourself.
    11. A log file from The Avenger will be produced at C:\avenger.txt and it will pop-up for you to view when you login after reboot.
    12. Attach this log to your next message. (See: HOW TO: Attach Items To Your Post )

    The path of the folder is located on the Desktop. The reason why I can't delete this folder is because its a 'shared' folder apparently. Whenever I try to delete it, a window prompt comes up and says

    "This folder is shared with people. If you delete this folder it will no longer be shared. Do you wish to continue"? Then I hit [yes], and then it says "YOU NEED PERMISSION TO PERFORM THIS ACTION!"

    Why the hell do I need permission if I am the admin on this computer! I disabled the UAC function and this F'ING message still comes up! I HATE WINDOWS VISTA!!!

    I keep getting an error with Avenger when I try to execute it.

    It says "A valid script must begin with a command directive. Aborting execution"
