In installing a Motorola router yesterday I think I uninstalled stuff unintentionally.
    I'm running windows xp
I hardwired the router to the laptop and I don't even see the connection icon.
or where you click on it to view your wireless networks which used to be on the bottom right side of screen.
Went to where it says devices and nothing comes up there either.
I also tried using the setup wizard to locate my network connections and zilch. What can I do?
    Thanks

    Never mind.
I had gone into msconfig and disabled a bunch of stuff. all's well now.
    Thanks
