can't get to online scanners..quick question

I am trying to do the stuff we are supposed to do first....but my virus or trojan or whatever I have wont let my browser go to online scanners.

A couple of years ago when I had a problem with another computer, one of yall gave me a link to a scanner and virus definitions file that I BELIEVE was from trend micro. I remember I had to run it in safe mode and I think it was a dos application. But I cant remember what it was called or where I was sent to get it...so if one of yall know what I'm, so feebly, trying to explain, please give me a link or some sort of direction or guidance. THANK YOU!! VERY MUCH!!

 

I believe this is what you are looking for:

Download the following two files, create a folder on your desktop, and call it TSC. Save these 2 files there!

Sysclean Package
Pattern.zip

Unzip Pattern.zip, then delete the zip file.

Once you have these downloaded into the folder you just created, REBOOT INTO SAFE MODE!

Once in Safe Mode, double click the file sysclean.com; when system cleaner loads, click SCAN to start the scanner.
