can't install drivers on vista ultimate 64-bit

    I need to install my sounddrivers for my soundcard es1371/1373 and xbox controller type-s not xbox 360

    Has Vista not picked it up on startup, and offered to install ?Vista has many more drivers than XP, and usually offers to instal one, or even to go on line to find one (and it is far better than XP at on line drivers).
    Does it not ask for the CD ?
    Will it not accept the driver you have? and refuses to instal ?
    Please confirm which.
    I have Vista x64 Ultimate.

    I managed to install the controler drivers by disabling driver signing in vista, but i am going to have to get a new sound card. thanks for your help
