I've tried enable the Bios settings for number lock, and this did not work. I've tried XP settings, and that did not come on. I've not tried both, but I don't think that will work either, b/c I hear that XP ignores the BIOS. I am using a Dell USB keyboard. Could it be that a regular PS/2 keyboard would work, but not a USB?

Is there another way to keep number lock on?:p

I believe he means "Num-Lock on power up".

When I go to standby mode with number-lock on, and come out of it, number-lock is off. The key works fine.
