Cant reach the memory card slots in my printer

    My HP7210 A-I-O printer has memory card slots which I use to d/l pics from my digi camera. These showed up under My Computer as drives x:, y:, and z:. The printer is networked on the LAN thru my router and works fine.
    Recently the system says "network location cannot be reached" and I cannot read the SD card anymore :(. Printer "sees" the SD and knows how many files are on it, but the SD cannot be opened from the PC.:confused
    Dell 4600, P4/1G RAM, XP-Pro/SP3
    Ideas?
