Can't Remove "Windows Update" From Taskbar

    Basically what it says; I updated windows through the windows page and it seems that windows was updating itself through the task bar; once i completed and rebooted the little taskbar icon stayed at 0% and remains there every time I reboot. Anyway to close it permanently w/o disabling automatic updates?
