Cant run windows update on fresh install

yeah i know i redo windows alot but im done with win8 it doesnt wana work with my 3.0 usb but now neither windows update or zune will work. Zune just says cant connect to microsoft update. On the windows update side i click on check updates and it just seems like it switches really fast between checking updates and the check for updates

 

Zune has been SOL since Microsoft put it to grave about three or four years ago. It will never connect to Microsoft update, because it is no longer a supported product.

 

yeah its sad to say that my samsung focus 2 uses Zune wish i had Note 2 lol but still what about my updates? ill have to restart again because of my a/v codec issue now it says the service isnt working please restart...
