    Hi, ALL,
I am trying to update MalwareBytes Antimalware.
Unfortunately it gives me an error: PROGRAM_ERROR_UPDATING(12150,0,WinHttpQueryHeaders).

Is it possible to change the server from where the updates are retrieven? Or is this something else?

    Thank you.

What antivirus and what firewall are you using? Also just as important may be what versions of these programs are you using too?

What version of MBAM are you running right now and what is the current database definitions?

Try booting in safe mode with networking and see if the update works?

    chaslang,
    Safe mode worked.
I'm running the R&R as Admin in Safe mode.

    Will post logs soon.

    Thank you.

Why are you running the R&R? Also note we prefer it to be run in normal boot mode otherwise you will be repeating steps again in normal bootmode later. Safe mode should only be used as a fall back when any particular scan cannot be run.

    chaslang,
    Thank you for replying.
I'm running XP SP3, so I thought that running R&R as an Admin will help with cleaning. Am I wrong?
The reason I'm doing it is because I have a lot of strange thing happenning with this machine after I tried to push latest updates from MS.

    Thank you.

The R&R needs to be run on the user account that you want to clean. Yes it will need to have admin privies but running on the Administrator account would primarily give info on only the Administrator account not the other user accounts except things that are common for all users.

"strange things" does not have any technical meaning to me. ;) You would have to explain but if your problems occurred after installing updates from Microsoft, perhaps you need to be posting in the Software Forum.
