can't update security/antivirus & can't access school website

Hi all, happy holidays.

I'm using XP along with Zone Alarm Pro for security & Antivir Free edition antivirus. I was formerly using Comodo firewall.

Back in November my son kept accessing porn sites, to which is when the trouble started.

I got rid of all of the adware, trojans, and viruses with Kaspersky & Ad Aware.

I did a system restore to an earlier date to when XP was running smooth.

I also am having trouble accessing two my my schools websites. It won't even access the page, whereas I can still log into this site & svtperformance.com, another site I used frequently. My school websites are the only pages I can't access.

My ad aware will not update (definitions), nor will this Antivir program. A few days ago I used AVG antivirus, to which it wouldnt update. My Zone Alarm Pro won't update in the spyware section of the program.

I did the Housecall antivirus scan online, to which it only found unharmful cookies.

Any help is greatly appreciated in advance.

I'm glad your computer is better. It would be a good idea for you to post the logs you got so we can check them. Quite often there are one or two files left over which can start the whole process up again and we can remove those manually if we know what they are.

By posting the logs, do you mean the log results of the scans from the antivirus & anti-spy programs alongside the CCleaner?

 

The three you would have to attach if you did the instructions in the READ & RUN ME FIRST would be the AVG-Antispyware 7.5, Combofix, and MGlogs.zip.

If you have any of these, please attach them with your next post, and remember that you have to write something in the post (at least 4 letters long) in order to create a post.
