Can't Update Windows Media Player to V.11

    I purchased a new Philips portable GoGear Mp3 player.

    I used the enclosed setup disk but part way in I get the message: " You've encountered error message 8007F06B while using Windows Media Player. Additional information is not currently available for this error."

    I even tried to update my currently installed Windows Media Player installed on my PC and and downloading the update from the Windows Media Player site but still get the same message when I try to install it!

    My o/s is Windows XP SP3.
