Have a Pentium 4 desktop with 2.6 GHz running Windows 2000 Pro.

Programs work for user with administrative right. But some of them do not work for those without administrative right. I have shared the Programs folder and the individual program folder for those that doesn't work.

Ex. are Windows Media Player, KM Player, TVU Player.

The computer had malware but have been cleaned up.

    Any ideas?

If you right click these programs / properties / and in the security tab, have you given them admin. privileges there? Allowed them full permissions?

The properties - security for the .exe file for those program are all checked but in gray for all users (including administrator), so I specifically added the user by username and everything is check in the allow column. Programs still not opening.

When I try to run Windows Media Player, get Error - internal application error.

TVU Player will appear to get started but then disappear.
