Caps lock turning on

Im not too sure if i'm on right forum? My caps lock symbol keeps appearing, even though on the keyboard its clearly not being used! have tried a different keyboard too ?

Have recently scanned and cleaned malware successfully, so im quite sure its not that

 

Are you using a wireless keyboard? If so then your batteries are prob weak and going dead. If not, then there maybe some issues with yuo drivers. You should try to update your drivers, and what version of windows are you using? and what brand keyboard?

 

No, i gave up on wireless ages ago! Im using x p pro and the keyboard im using is Saitek

 

Wnt to the site for the drivers...installed but is still happening

 

Try starting it in safe mmode and see what happens.

 

I am using xpsp2. The keyboard is saitek multimedia, and i have downloaded and installed the driver. I did have malware a few weeks ago http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=216391
and cleaned successfully.

 

If nothing seems to fix it, and Halo can't help, I did find this site, that give direction on to completly disable the capslocks key, but you can still use the SHIFT-- method of capslocks.

Oh and one more thing, not sure if this would help but, since capslocks seems to have a reg file, maybe try reg defrag. I belive Glary utilities, and ccleaner both have a nice little tool.

Or maybe your reg just needs repaired.
