Yes I think it would fit however the PSU in the case may not be enough.

According to online that card is 6.625 inches long.

As for value to the customer I would replace the PSU and put in a 8600gts pci express as that card is only 7 inches long for the same price as the 8400gs pci.

8600gts is much faster then the 8400gs it looks like.

Because the mini-itx motherboards only have one expansion slot: an average PCI slot.

I wouldn't worry about it then. I don't think a PCI video card would have much a performance increase over on-board and if you are going to build this as a low end system I wouldn't worry about it.

Actually, you should just drop it anyway. Mainly because of the insufficient power supply, I decided to go with this motherboard:

Since it uses the Nvidia ION chipset, it has an integrated Geforce 9400m.

What are you going to target these pcs for? General very low end use?

Just a basic computer that can play blu-ray. But just in case that is a bit slow (with the atom 330 and all), then if I decided to go with the separate video card idea, with the LGA 775 motherboard, do you think the 150 watt power supply would support it?

with that small of a power supply just put the atom mobo in it:confused

I would give people at least a 300-400 watt power supply.

Maybe you want to go to a micro ATX case with a core2duo. I think you get more for your money in a bigger case.

that would be nice too, that would give them much more power for less
may i recommend the Antec 300

As well as much better cooling it looks like.

Remember, this is supposed to act as a blu-ray player that someone could put in their stereo cabinet, not a full-size desktop. A mid-tower ATX case, nor a Micro-ATX case would work for this situation.
