My speakers just stopped working all of a sudden the other day and I'm usually pretty good with computers but I just can't figure it out. I've went to device manager and uninstalled and reinstalled but nothing works. Please help.

Have you tried the speakers in another PC ?
It is otherwise possible that you need an updated driver for your audio.
Is it an on-board sound like AC97 , OR ?
Is it through a sound card, ?
If you post the system setup, we can be more help, as sound drivers can be a pain.
