    hey,

ok most of the people here will allready be fimiliar with the software cclreaner and what it does so I aint gona bore you with that. basicly I ran it a couple days ago just to clean out old keys and my browsers. but everything is starting to go wrong. my browsers are having trouble connecting to servers and I can no longer run a system restore, edit user accounts or file searches (even using command prompt) I'm 99.9% sure that its not malware of any kind. I've ran avast scan on boot and run and corrected a hjiack this log and the problems above haven't been corrected ='(

has this happend to anyone else using ccleaner? I never made a back up of what I deleted so is there anyway I can fix it? baring in mind that I can no longer run a system restore.

By "cleaning out keys" you mean using the issues tab in CCleaner? It gave you an option to back-up the files, no? If you opted to back them up, then simply restore them. See how it works then.

    Hope this helps,

You should always back up what cleaners remove from the Registry, unless you're absolutely sure it's nothing important. However, I seriously doubt CCleaner is responsible for all that trouble. Try the Malware Removal Forum, what you've done so far wouldn't even scratch the surface of a serious infection.
