CD burnerXP Pro Will Not Open??

    Hi Guy's
    I now have a problem with my downloaded freeware CD burnerXP Pro.
    I was using this software when running Win. 98se without a problem and with great results.
    I upgraded(????!!!!) to Win. XP home and again downloaded CD burner XP Pro without a problem untill I double click my desktop icon and Nothing??
    Does XP home have any sort of block for certain software or is there another problem??
    Have tried several downloads with same result, it's there but will not open!

    Do you have .NET installed? If not run windows update .NET will be under Software, Optional.
