cd cleaning

well,this is sorta computer question.what can i use to get cds to play when they are scratched or dirty?i have several cds that when i put them in my computer,they wont play,it just flashes busy,anyone help?thanks

This ensures radial cleaning of a CD but it also removes some surface scratches from the non-label side.

I have had some CDs that were totally unrecoverable and you chould be able to get (in some cases free) replacements. I had a scratched CD for a game from Microsoft which they replaced free of charge include free postage and packing and I didn't have to send the original back - they just needed the licence or CD key.
