CD drive name location

I added a new cd drive and a zip drive. I changed the drive letters to suit their position. I double clicked the cd drive and got a menu with "rename" etc. I chanded part of the name by mistake. I can't find the location of the name . I assume it is in the registry but I can't locate it. I have tried uninstalling, but that drive letter is stuck with the error. Does any one know where the name is located. I can read and write binary words if I can find the location.
