CD/DVD quit working on computer help please

My dc/dvd quit working on my vista laptop I am getting error code 10.

I have downloaded ITunes to go with my new Ipod Touch not a phone the player and now this problem has happened. How can I fix it? I searched and can't find a patch or anything. Help please thanks so much.

research i have done shows this has been an issue for some people who run windows vista what you need to do is right click on my computer then select properties in the next menu select hardware then device manager,locate the faulty device it will have a yellow exclamation mark click on the plus to open then right click on it and choose uninstall. when completed close out of all boxes and restart your computer.then follow the found new hardware wizard to reinstall the driver you may need a copy of your windows disk if it is required. good luck i hope this helps.
