Changing DVD regional code

    I just found out that my DVD is configured for the wrong regional code, but when I try to change it I get the following message:
    Unable to update region setting. Please make sure the drive contains a region 2 media and you have administration privilege.

    I do have a region 2 in the drive, and I don't have different user accounts on windows.
    I'm running Windows XP pro.

    Nope, that doesn't help me, the region code is set in the hardware.
