Ok, I need a cheap vid card that would be capable of supporting a 22 inch monitor at its suggested 1680X1050 res.

Right now, I have a 64 meg Visiontech Xtasy on a regular PCI slot, but that won't cut it. I do have an open\available AGP 4X, but not sure if I should go PCI or AGP.

Trying to go cheap here because I'll be moving the monitor to the new box, whenever that happens.

    Any help would be appreciated!

EDIT: I won't be playing video games....just surfing, e-mail etc. etc.

The simple answer is ANY,practically any AGP X 4 card will run at those resolutions in 2D and beyond without a problem with only a few exceptions most go to 2048×1536 @ 85Hz.

If you want me to pick one I'd go with something like a Geforce 5200 for $30,you could pick up a used one or similar for even cheaper at a local PC store which is what I'd do.
