Chip set drivers, Gigabyte

I have a GA-970A-UD3 board. I want the chipset drivers. The download page downloads a Radeon video driver installer. The driver scanner page thing won't work. I've tried google but it just shows me where to buy it and the gigabyte website.

Please assist.


(Yes this is an attempt to deal with my sound latency issue)

 

What operating system are you using?

I checked the manufacturer site, and it does show a Chipset driver for that board . . . they ask for an OS version though.

Yes to both of you. It downloads Catalyst driver for video cards. I have an Nvidia card.

 

I'm afraid I don't understand. Is it a driver for your video card you need? If so, go here:

You posted "chipset" drivers were needed, not video drivers.

 

Exactly. I need chipset drivers not video. The website keeps giving me graphics drivers.

Well I ran it this time. No graphics, even though it said it was installing graphics, however my 2006 drivers were all "up to date"

when I select Win 7 64 bit, I clearly see a 2014 chipset driver

 

And when I have downloaded it 5 times I open up a Catalyst driver set.

 

Can you click start, then run, then type in devmgmt.msc

Do a screen shot of that, and post it here.

For example, I have an issue with my own settings, that I really don't care about, but, like I said, this is just an example.

Anyway, since you want the audio driver, could you give the properties for your realtek audio under "Sound, Video, and Game Controllers"?

the download never starts, when I hit the download button to force it it sends me to the download page on the site.

 

Ach, didn't work with chrome tried firefox and it worked properly.
