Chop'in music

When I playback any piece of music on WMP that is lesser than 256kbps, it comes through choppy, at the rhythm of a turn signal. This is regardless of what other programs are open.

Vista with 3MB memory.

Hmm, have you tried the Vista Codec Package? Sounds like(no pun intended) that there's something cycling, have you checked task manager to see what coincides with the blinking out?

 

Assuming you meant 3 gigs of memory, I agree with augiedoggie.
Switch your codecs, if that don't do it for ya, check task manager or use
Process Explorer,

Have you used another media player? Perhaps it only affects WMP and not your system. If that is the case, try an uninstall-reinstall.
