Choppy Audio when using DVD/CD

    Hi ..
    Newbie again

    I have put together the following PC but everytime I acess either DVD whatever Audio is being heard (VOIP/MP3's etc) gets very choppy.

    I have changed Audio to the on-board RealTek 8ch and upgraded drivers

    Also change one of the DVD to an NEC2500 from my old system which worked all ok

    I guess there is some sort of DMA / IRQ clash from the new Mobo and the audio but I just don't know where to start..

    Sorry for being such a Noob !!!

    Please help

    OS: XP Pro - SP2 (using IE 6)
    AUDIO: RealTek ALC882M - NOV 2006 Drivers
