Chrombox

Old old machine, windows 7 finally gave up the ghost thinking of getting a chrombox, dont do gaming, just mooch about the web, any info on the chrombox please

Truthfully, if you just want to browse the web, you can get a large android tablet, use a bluetooth keyboard and get away cheaper than the price of a laptop running ChromeOS. Plus android has lots more apps than Chrome OS does. I keep reading stories that android apps eventually will be able to be installed on Chrome OS but so far not much is happening along those lines.
