Cisco 2600 problems

OK, I have a home Cisco lab with 1 2500 router and two 2600 routers. Two weeks ago, everything worked fine. Now, all of a sudden, I cannot get a physical 'up' connection between any of the router T1 WICs. Cabling is not an issue, because if I connect the crossover cable between my Ethernet interfaces, I can get an up/up connection. However, when connecting between T1 interfaces, I get down/down. I am connecting WIC-1DSU-T1 interfaces with crossover cables. As I stated before, it worked perfectly fine a few weeks ago. The only thing I have done since is erased the startup-config a few times and reloaded the routers. Line coding on all T1 controllers is b8zs, and framing is esf.

One thing to note, immediately after the router boots, all T1 interfaces show an Alarm. The alarm lights up, and if I run 'show service-module', it shows a remote alarm and loss of signal, as well as several linecode violations. No pathcode violations, however.

    Can anyone help? Thanks.

You erased the start up config? Thats a big deal! What do you mean by reloaded the routers? Did you reload the IOS or the Start up config? Could you do a -sho run- and copy and past the config for me to see? If its too big then PM me on this forum and I'll look at it that way.

Thanks for the reply. They are lab routers, so the config gets erased and recreated multiple times every day. I never had a problem until recently. I'm not sure why the T1 wics generate alarms and errors as soon as the router boots. I should be able to get at least an up/down on the interface by just doing a 'no shut' and plugging in a crossover cable, but I can't even get that. I'm thinking the problem may be in how the T1 controllers are configured, but I'm not sure what to change, or what caused the problem in the first place. So basically, I'm trying to think of anything to change from a Layer 1 perspective.....

Lets start with Layer 1.... Have you tried changing to a new port on the router. IE. pull the WIC and put it in another bay? How about swapping WICS?
I still would like to see the config you have on that wic card
