   egw1556 Private E-2

   A virus is active on my XP Pro system. It prevents and then disables all scanning software. It is active when booting in safe mode but not when I boot in diagnostic mode. I have run scans in diagnostic mode but nothing was found.
   
   I found a thread similar to my problem and followed the instructions for using MGtools, FixAVP, and The Avenger. I have attached the MGtools log.

   Run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator). Make sure you let it run to completion. It will tell you when it is finished.
   
   Then attach the below logs:
   * C:\MGlogs.zip
