Clevo M76T

I have installed Windows 7 on a clevo laptop and installed all the drivers.

However the CD/DVD drive (TSSTcorp CDDVD TS-L633C ATA Device) does not read any CD's or DVD's.

When I click on the DVD icon in my computer, it jects the drive and asked for a disc, I insert a disc, it attempts to read it then stops trying.

What I found strange was it installed Windows 7 from the same drive.

Any help is appreciated.

I take it to mean that this includes data, music and movies as well as any program disks. If not, please specify exactly what types of CDs and DVDs you have tried.

 

It doesn't read any data, music, install files, literally anything at all.

It does show up in explorer, but when I click the drive it ejects and asks for a disk.

Those fixes mentioned above didn't work
