clock date and time

how did i do this? i wound up having to reformat and reinstall the os on this comp (because i didn't want to register the os just yet). plz note, that the taskbar was at the normal size. - thx, sos

 

I'm not sure what the problem is.
Do you want to remove the clock?
Set the clock?

 

cool!! can you remember how you do this ,cos I want you to tell me,so I can do this on my comp.

 

no, it shows the day of the week. i'd like to be able to do that again on my other comp. and, as i mentioned the taskbar was at regular size, not expanded.

You guys make this waaaaay overcomplicated.
Setting your taskbar to double height gives you the day of the week.

Same in Vista.

Now, if one was to adjust the font size...I see no reason why you couldn't get the same effect on a single heighth bar.

Did you play with the DPI settings at all?

Try something lower than 96...like 80.

 

@ goran - i didn't change anything that i know of. i just happened to look down 1 day and it was like that.

everone else, i appreciate the suggestions, but i'm not looking for software to do this, it has to be possible somehow, because it did it (even if i don't think i did it). unless it was a fluke? - thx, sos

Anyway,I think too,that it's menageable to see clock and date both.
