You may have a problem, but it was not caused by MGtools or Combo. I know for a fact that all tools/software were tested by multiple regular members/mods of this forum and do not cause problems.

The malware forums tests everything prior to using and we gladly volunteer to test because we know they're the best at what they do.

Your problem was most likely caused by what you were trying to remove.

Try this, see if it helps

well the problem was not there before using the tools. Then it instantly came in. Also i have already seen that link and it does not offer me any help, but thanks for trying. Maybe someone else has encountered this problem and has a fix for it.

ok i fixed it, thanks chaslang, that link you gave me gave me the idea of what to do. instead of changing the remote registry i used the same technique on the security center service. for some odd reason it was changed to local computer instead of local service, once i made the change and put in my password, it came right up. I think one of the tools must have changed it, and didn't change it back. Well know you know to tell anyone else if they have the same problem. thanks all.

It's hard to determine what causes this however I do not think MGTools or ComboFix has anything to do with it. It's possible for ComboFix to do this but I wouldn't automatically assume this is what caused it.

The important thing is, it's fixed! ;)
