command line problem

    Hi
    Well when I type in ipconfig in the command box it just open up and then disappear. other commands work when I type them in the box, so I can't use this command any suggestion on how to fix it would be appreciated. So laptop Dell 9300 inspiron

    are you typing it in to the run box or an actual command prompt?

    Did you call up the command prompt first in accessories where you get a black box waiting for input or just the run command which will do that?

    you can also open command prompt by typing cmd in the run box.
