comp. running suuuuper slooow..ran hijack this but..

Im definetly in need of help....my pc is soooo slooow..i know it probably is full of junk from downloads...any advice? unsure of what to remove from the log

Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis and attach a log:


Downloading, Installing, and Running HijackThis


When you return to make your next post, make sure you attach the following logs and that you have run these scans in the following order too (these scans are covered in steps 6 & 7 of the READ & RUN ME sticky)

• Bitdefender
• Panda Scan
• HijackThis

I didn't find any malware in add/remove....unable to downlaod ccleaner...gdata antiworm remover stops half way of scanning..and shut down due to unexpected error...found a trojan(s) when i ran a-squared..avast doesn't scan all the way....

 

And what about the tools we actually asked you to run ? How did you get on with WIndows Defender ? Activescan? Bitdefender ?

 

nuttin pops up on windows defender..bitdefender stopped half way through scan as well...unable to dl activescan..thats why i tried all of the others....asquared named a trojan as tkbellexe/tactslay.a/realsched.exe?

 

Whats the error with the 'dl'

Active Scan is an online scanner..... It only requires you to instal an Active - X control. At what point in the process are you having this error ?

 

right after it asks to install...im goin' to try it again i guess..

 

OK what about step 7 of the Sticky ?

 

do mean hjt loh is so here it is..

 

i guess there is nothin in the log to worry about?
