    Hi
I have a k8s-la Compac motherboard given to me. How do I determine which
case to get that will fit???
    Thanks

i beleive that is a micro-ATX motherboard. so look for a micro ATX case, or some reguler ATX cases can hold both ATX and micro-ATX. so find a case you want and check the specs on it. it should say what size mobo it can hold.

    hope i helped..

Assuming that board isn't proprietary, meaning that the board was designed specifically for Compaq so it will only properly mount in their own, again...proprietary case. The board is a different size, the mounting holes won't properly line up and the back I/O plate won't line up properly.

However...if it isn't proprietary, then it is indeed a Micro ATX...
